Khao San Road
Khao San Road is a travelers meca in Bangkok. Foreigners seem to comprise 75% of the local population, which isn't surprising considering it's the principle oasis for backpackers trekking in all of Asia. During our time here, we didn't come across one American though. Cheap rooms are the norm here too, some as low as $5.
